Welcome to Agenthon 2026! The SQA is thrilled to announce #Agenthon2026, a hackathon in quantitative finance, focusing on Agentic AI, organized jointly by the Society of Quantitative Analysts SQA and the Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology CEWIT at Stony Brook University!

This competition aims to develop and evaluate cutting-edge quantitative finance solutions for industry professionals, utilizing the latest mathematical, statistical and machine learning techniques and alternative datasets.

Agenthon 2026 is a month-long, online quantitative finance competition with in-person finals.

Get Involved

Agenthon 2026 is open to industry professionals, graduate students and academics alike, able to attend the final in person, if successful. Agenthon 2026 is designed for individuals eager to enhance their skills in Agentic AI and quantitative finance, and to engage with the latest advancements in technology, computational statistics and data analysis in the financial sector. Winners will have substantial visibility in the industry, including the Question sponsors, and SQA member investment firms.

Question Partners

Agenthon 2026 questions will focus on Agentic AI in financial markets. Past Alphathon Questions have always been of real relevance to Hedge Funds and Asset Managers, and cover different areas of Quantitative Investment like Alpha Forecasting, Portfolio Optimization, dealing with Large, Alternative, Unstructured or High Frequency Data, Machine Learning and AI.
